Double Sided Fall Blocks (Fablifyit Series!)

...A tiny announcement...

My husband is leaving me...

tomorrow...

to go to Nashville and visit his family!
{Don't lie, you thought he finally got fed up with me and was really leaving, didn't you?}

He'll be gone for a week so I'm a widow...just clattering around here with the dog. So I believe it's time to PARTAAAAAAY!!!

This whole week I'll be swapping blogs with some amazing bloggers out there. So make sure to check in a few times this week and say hello. Also don't forget me in my solitude and come by their blogs and say hi! It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait for you guys to come visit!

It's time for another awesome project from Fablifyit or Fab Decor.com! Fablifyit is her blog where she posts a bunch of tutorials and such, and FabDecor is her online store where you can go to purchase her kits. So fun! Melissa has the cutest things in her shop! She sends the unfinished wood blocks and vinyl for the project and the rest of the decorating is up to you. The best part is that they are already sanded! Thus eliminating my intense dislike for wood projects and making them fun again.

This week is a double sided project. I love that, because it serves two seasons of decoration and I don't have to store tons of stuff. Perfect!

I went with red, brown and tried to make an orange dreamsicle color for the pumpkin background, but it ended up being more of a peach color. But it's a happy accident because I think I like it the way it is better.

I added a bit of twine around the middle to add some embellishment and then hot glued on a little bow (cause I'm a girl...we like bows...get over it...)

The other side is equally as cute with the turkey on there.
(Suddenly I'm hungry for Thanksgiving dinner...)

I am in love with how well this goes with my

My little scarecrow soldiers with it...so cute!

A little more up close and personal view!

And the other side...I can switch it every so often! If I get bored of one side, I can just flip it around!

And the best part of this project is that you can buy the whole kit, just the vinyl for one saying, for both, the whole kit complete, or mix and match! Prices start at only $3.50. You can't beat that! But it gets even better. Melissa is giving away one of these to a lucky reader today! Make sure to head over to her blog and enter the awesome giveaway. Tell her I sent you!

Happy Weekend!
