Bloggers Night Out! Hosted by My Craft Channel and Gardner Village

The thing that I love most about being a blogger, is meeting new people. I love all the new friends I've made in the last year and a half of blogging. Everyone in this community of ours is so happy and helpful and inspiring! And it thrills me even more when I get to meet the faces behind the blogs in real life, and that's exactly what I got to do last week!

Garner Village along with My Craft Channel hosted a "Bloggers Night Out" and I was a lucky person and was able to participate. I'd never been to Gardner Village before, and so I was really looking forward to it!

I carpooled up with Lindsay from Artsy Fartsy Mama and her other half Jason from Surviving Crafting. Jason volunteered to drive since Lindsay and I are both, shall we say, "directionally challenged".

When we got there I was pleasantly surprised with how fantastic this little village is. There's a ton of cute shops and botiques to check out, and for this quilter all the quilting shops was like going home to the mother ship! I took a ton of pictures of their fun fall decor and walked around meeting all the fantastic blogging friends that I've made.

Our first stop was Highlite Photography where we hammed it up with mustaches! It was so much fun!

Gardner Village was so cute, they were putting out all of their fall and seasonal decorations as we wandered through. The witches out everywhere cracked me up! There's this trio here that rotates around so you can see all the cute witches.

I loved this girl playing the piano. Lucky she has a spare pair of hands hanging out there for her!

This one was adorable, she would lift her skirt every so often and show us her bloomers.

A great picture of Lindsay and Jason. My partners in crime. Jason was great at navigating not only the traffic to and from, but getting us in and out of the shops in a timely fashion. We had a scavenger hunt that we had to complete so we could enter in for the drawings later on that night. Jason kept us on task in getting all the pieces found, and not spending too much time drooling in the shops. He also sported a fashionable purse (Lindsay's!) the whole night and cracked us up! Way to go Jason!

I got a kick out of this little turkey. He was so cute!

At "The Bead Farm" they had you make your very own earrings. I was torn between the music notes and these little scissors, but the scissors won out, because I'm a quilter, and we use scissors a lot. I've already worn them a few times and received a few compliments. :-) So much fun.

She called me and said "Hey come take a cheesey picture with me!" So I did...

She knows how to party!

So then when the scavenger hunt was all done we went into the main event room and they had a chocolate fountain and delicious things to dip in it. What you see under that chocolate was strawberries, marshmallows, and pineapple. Mmmmm,......

Yeah...don't judge...

So then came the fun part of the evening. We had time to sit and chat with each other and meet new and old friends. I sat at the same table with Dee Dee from Designs by Dee Dee! It was great to get to meet her in person.

And I feel really silly, but Jen from Tatertots and Jello was there, and I've loved her blog since I started blogging. I just had to go get a picture with her and meet her. She is so nice and TALL in real life! :-)

I also met Elyse from Six Sister's Stuff. She had the youngest of her brood with her and he was very popular. I think we played pass the baby (A form of musical chairs for babies!) all night long. So much fun to meet her! (She sat at our table, so I was a little thrilled...)

And then we had Lucinda the witch as our host for the prize drawings. We laughed so hard at her fun personality and antics. We were all turned into "cloggers" for the evening. ;-)

And here's Lindsay and I as we were getting ready to go. It was so much fun but we were pooped!

Thanks so much to Gardner Village and My Craft Channel for the fun night out!

And here's a really fun video they made of the whole event. Can you spot me in the video at the end clapping for the prize winners?

And PS. if you guys live in Utah I will be manning a booth at the Scrapbook Expo this weekend, so you should stop by and say hi! I'd love to meet more of my blogging friends! Come say hi and learn a fun craft with me! Hope to see you there.

That was an awesome night! It was great to finally meet you. Good job on taking more pictures than I did and wasn't chocolate the perfect way to cap off the night? :)
