Hey all you Quilted Euphorians (if you didn’t know that’s what you are called, I just decided it is!). My name is Vanessa and I blog at Our Thrifty Ideas. I originally started as a coupon and deals blogger, but quickly realized that my love and passion was really for the thrifty way of life and of course taking that into my love of CRAFTS!

I am one of those people who crafts just to craft. I don’t necessarily have a “place” for it, or a specific person to give it to. I just had an idea, and had to get it out. Ya know?!

Anyway, I am so happy to be here today, and really I just wanted to share with you some of my favorite and most thrifty projects that I have shared on Our Thrifty Ideas. Because lets be honest, who doesn’t love a new idea that they can make using the stuff around the house, or items they can get for free?

Just recently I was presented the challenge of finding fun and unique projects to make using a wood pallet. Yah, like those ones you find in warehouses and whatnot. So my husband and I got to work, and I have to share my favorite, and one of the most popular items from my blog.

Timeout Bench 10_thumb[6]

No Sew Onesies

Another post that is very popular, so easy, and a great gift to have on hand, is my no sew baby onesies. You can customize this to be ANYTHING. Gender neutral, extremely girly, a little one’s initials, or planes trains and automobiles for the little man!

Cheesecake in a jar faded_thumb[1]

I also love to share my sweet tooth with my readers. One of my favorites (although it’s from a box) were these fun colored mini cheesecakes I made for my daughter’s first birthday.

I have so many more crafts, recipes, and random thoughts on the blog. I’d love to have you stop by and share some of your ideas as well. Crazy + Thrifty = A whole lotta fun at Our Thrifty Ideas!

And because Vanessa is so awesome in sharing her blog (And naming my readers!!!!) she is offering up a fantastic item for a giveaway today. She is giving away a bottle of Lavender essential oils from DoTerra.

My favorite scent is actually a blend of oils from butterflyoils.com , it is called Tranquility, I have heart palpitations, and this oil helps to keep my heart under control, and it is also great for stress. Whenever I wear it people always compliment me on my perfume!
