Cleaning out the denim

I'm focusing a lot of projects on denim the last few days. Mostly because I have a ton of squares. And because it's awesome! It's amazing how repurposing something can give it new life and a new look.

From jeans...to...

Can you guess what it is?

If you guessed raggy tote bag, then you were right!
I'm in love...
I have a tendency sometimes to speed through my project because I can't wait to see how it turns out. Well sometimes it works well and other times...well...they fall apart. We're not going to focus on those projects...so on this one, I kept telling myself "patience" as I worked, and I think that philosophy served me well...yet not something that I naturally have a lot of!

I was also super awesome, and installed stealthy pockets on the interior...

And two on the exterior

More pocket love for you...

Loving the contrast between the yellow and the denim! Plus rag stuff is so awesome!

I am just dropping in from Homemaker in Heels to see this super bag. My momma-in-law quilts and just loves new ideas. I would love to invite you to share any of your great projects at Freedom Fridays Blog Hop.
So hoping to see you there (and I so hope you bring this bag:) )
