Fuzzy Sleep Aid

Can I just start by writing out a little update? I mean I know you're anxious for the project I have today, but I just wanted to say a couple things first.

I feel really bad about cancelling this week's link up party and features! This week was so busy that when I got home from work Friday night all I wanted to do was sleep. Then had to work again on Saturday morning and by the time I remembered that I was supposed to do some features, it was too late! So this week we will definitely have a party and some good link up's next week.

One of the things that we did on Friday night was take hubby into the sleep clinic. He's got really bad sleep apnea, but we were trying to diagnose it further and get some things on his machine figured out. One of the problems he's having is that the humidifier makes condensation in the tubing and then he's breathing water! So I came up with a solution to hopefully insulate the tubing from the outside cooler air to make the condensation inside the tubing disappear...

Fuzzy Sleep Aid!

Basically took a length of fleece, (long enough to cover the tubing) and sewed it together to form a tube.

Then had to snatch it away from hubby as he tried to wear it as a scarf...

Then threaded it onto the tubing, re-connected it, and viola! A fuzzy sleep aid!
It really was easy and fun to make, and I'm hoping that it will solve the problems that hubby has with his Cpap machine. And yes, in case you're wondering I left it turned the way it is showing the seam. Have you ever tried to turn fleece inside out when formed into a tube? No? Then don't judge me...

I will have a couple more projects to post this week and a fantastic linkup party going on this weekend...so stay tuned...

Have a great week guys!

I think your husband looks quite dashing in his CPAP insulation. Maybe you need to make him another one to wear out and about :)

What a smart idea, Amber! I totally understand on cancelling the link party! It takes longer than people realize! I am sorry I haven't linked up lately! I just haven't had much craftiness going on. Anyways, hope you have a great weekend! :)
